We’ve Launched: Meet Brodar. Gay connections app alternative

After months of building, testing, redesigning, arguing, stress, excitement and very little sleep… Brodar is officially live.

Brodar was created because we felt like something was missing from the current gay app experience. Too many platforms feel repetitive, restrictive, overrun with ads, or disconnected from actual queer culture and nightlife. We wanted to build something that felt more social, more expressive and more community-driven.

So that’s what Brodar is.

A new gay social and dating app built for men who want to meet, chat, connect, share and discover people in a way that feels more natural and less corporate.

Right now we’re focused heavily on growing our UK community, especially in cities like London and Manchester, while slowly expanding outward as more people join the platform every day.

What makes Brodar different?

We’re still early. That’s the exciting part.

The users joining now are helping shape what Brodar becomes. Every message, every suggestion and every bit of feedback genuinely matters to us at this stage.

Over the coming months we’ll also be collaborating with creators, photographers, nightlife brands, events and artists across the LGBTQ+ community as we continue building Brodar into something bigger than just another app.
