Gay men are not one size fits all.

For years, a lot of gay apps have used pre-selected tribes, tags and labels to help people describe themselves. And to be fair, that can be useful. Words like bear, twink, daddy, geek, gym guy, trans, leather, discreet or masc can help people find others they relate to. Or they get lumped together some how, what is a tribe what is a kink or a fetish?

But the problem is simple.

Not everyone fits neatly into a fixed list.

Some people feel limited by the options. Some feel boxed in. Some want to describe themselves in a way that is more specific, more personal, more playful, or just more true to them.

That is why Brodar does things differently.

On Brodar, you can create your own tags and tribes. Instead of only picking from a pre-made list, you can write the words that actually fit you. You can use tags to show your identity, your vibe, your interests, your community, what you are into, or how you want other people to find you.
